Vintage KitchenAid Hobart Food Chopper Meat Grinder Attachment – FC REFURBISHED with CAST IRON AUGER and SAUSAGE STUFFERS – All Metal (Aluminum and Steel Construction). Some scuffs on the aluminum housing but all else in great shape and fully functions. The grinder is sanitized, lubricated and fully refurbished. It appears to be rarely used and nearly new in condition. Includes copy of original instruction and use guide. Mixer shown in pictures is not part of this listing. It was manufactured by Hobart Corporation of Troy, OH for KitchenAid and is built to last a life time. This FC attachment fits all KitchenAid stand mixers manufactured by Hobart and/or Whirlpool as well as Hobart mixers with the #10 attachment hub N50 and C100; 5 Qt. This FC chopper / grinder is unique in that the auger is made of cast iron unlike the newer aluminum ones. It is three times the weight of its aluminum counter part and grinds, meat, bone and fat like nobody’s business. Hobart commercial meat grinders are made of cast iron and this FC model was the last of its kind to come with cast iron auger yet still have the aluminum housing for easy cleaning and care. It is truly a rare model indeed. This FC packages come will all of the original parts including the following. Auger – Cast Iron. Three New Sausage Stuffer Tubes (Various Sizes). Hobart Kitchenaid Grinder Attachment Cast Iron Vintage Heavy Duty! . This is an attachment from the early days of Kitchenaid mixers. We used this with our old one, but it is compatible with every Kitchenaid with a power hub on the front (even brand new ones). The cast iron is great at keeping meat cold while grinding! There is a small chunk broken out of the auger, but it does not affect the function (see pic for detail). Works so much better than the more recent aluminum or plastic ones. A extra nice vintage KitchenAid model FC meat/food grinder attachment to fit all of their mixers, new and vintage. This is a first edition cast iron model KitchenAid Div. Hobart made, has the wood plunger, knife, disc and I will include instructions. This cast iron is their heaviest model and far superior to any model especially the newer plastic breakable models.
