Vintage Kitchenaid Hobart Rotor Slicer Shredder Attachment. This COMPLETE UNIT is in great used condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned. The Rotor Housing shows some signs of wear, mostly just the discoloration over time of the heavy aluminum. The four Cones (thick slice, thin slice, grate and shred) look almost new. The Clutch Shaft shows some signs of wear. Included is a copy of a newer model slicer shredder so you’ll know how to attach this to your Kitchenaid. This listing is only for the attachment. I’ve included a picture of the Slicer Shredder attached to my Kitchenaid but the mixer is not included in this listing. The squash and homemade pickles are also not included. These ALL METAL UNITS are heavy duty, made to last and will slice, grate or shred almost anything like hard root vegetables, cheese and Aunt Ethel’s fruitcake. If you look at the new models with the plastic Rotor Housing, you’ll see how easily cracks form at the stress points where the Housing, Cone and Clutch Shaft meet. Not so with the metal pieces, no longer made. This attachment should fit mixers from mid-century to the present. In one of the pictures, it is attached to my Professional 5+. The Auger worm is 17.5″ Long and the square end of the spiral tool is 1.5″-1.75 approximately as shown in pictures. The tip end has some very minor wearing damage on the second ring section please review pictures. This is almost identical to the Hobart #4146 the only difference we can see is the tip end is slightly different so please be sure this will fit your machine before purchasing. Not 100% sure on the model as it is not marked on the part.
