Up for sale is a working Hobart 84186 18 Buffalo Chopper that comes with a working meat grinder attachment and good set of typical wear parts, including spare blades, V belt, and a toothed belt. It’s in great used condition, as shown in the pics and has a lot of life left in it. It was acquired as surplus from a working lab and was kept in storage most of its life. It comes exactly as shown. Please note a few things. This is a 230V, single phase unit. It has a 20A 3-prong plug that can be changed out easily. The meat grinder attachment needs your choice of blades and screen. It already has the auger, as can be seen in the pictures. The “business end” of the grinder (tested and spins freely) opens and you would just install the blades and screen onto the shaft and screw the end back in. A grinder tray would also be recommended, but wouldn’t be needed. The Hobart Buffalo Chopper 84186 features a 1HP motor, an 18-inch stainless steel bowl with a 15-pound capacity, and double stainless steel knives that rotate at 1725 RPM while the bowl rotates at 20 RPM. Key specs include a one-piece burnished aluminum housing for easy cleaning, a bowl cover safety interlock, and an attachment hub on this model. The unit is NSF and UL listed. Knives: Double cutlery-grade stainless steel, 1725 RPM rotation. Bowl: 18-inch diameter stainless steel, 20 RPM rotation. Housing: One-piece burnished aluminum. Safety: Bowl cover safety interlock prevents operation unless the cover is locked in place. Cleaning: Easy to clean with a removable bowl, knives, and cover; no tools are required. Control: Pull/Push On/Off switch. Legs: 3-inch stainless steel legs with rubber feet. Cord: 4-foot flexible cord with plug. Attachment Hub: #12 attachment hub for adding other attachments.
