Its innovative alloy steel stay-sharp knife and plates require resharpening much less than those made of carbon steel; however, when resharpening is needed, the plates will withstand more resharpening than standard plates. This ensures that the unit remains in tip-top shape for as long as possible, giving your operation a meat-chopping solution with superior cutting performance that’s nearly effortless to maintain! Operating from right to left, the chopper is user-friendly and relies on a magnetic starter and rubber-capped push buttons. It features multiple safety features, too, ensuring that the operator or nearby kitchen staff are not placed in danger. A guard is mounted to the feed pan sides and made of durable cast aluminum. Combined with the design of the bowl, the guard prevents accidental exposure to the worm. Plus, when the bowl and pan are not in their correct positions, the integrated interlock system prevents the unit from operating. For durability and sanitation purposes, the chopper is stainless steel, which is smooth and easy to clean. The motor is ventilated, though entirely enclosed, along with the transmission. Plus, the junction box is waterproof, protecting the vital electrical connections from damage during use or cleaning.
